Health Risks: Walking and Driving Injuries

Using your phone or other gadgets while walking or driving is dangerous it takes your  focus away from the road. When walking, you take longer to cross the street, neglect to look at the traffic lights, and forget to look both ways.

Know that you are four times more likely to have an accident when talking on the phone while walking or driving. Texting further raises that risk. Studies have shown that using hands-free and voice-dialing features don’t really help.

Distracted walking or driving is just not worth it. To avoid injury or an even worse outcome, break this bad habit. Just put your phone away until you reach your destination.
